Greetings Carvers
Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and ate to much Turkey and dressing and didn’t put on too much weight. If you did or you

As always Bill and Judy Dominick will do a great job procuring the Chicken and Drinks and the rest of us will bring the side dishes and dessert. I am sure more people are coming than signed up, so if you haven’t signed up yet, please let me know.
The Metrolina Christian Academy choir is ready to entertain us, and the raffle has been replaced by a gift from the club.
Remember, bring some of your carvings to display and don’t forget to be generous when donating to Loaves and Fishes. Bill Robinson organizes this every year.
It will be a regular carving day starting at 9am so you don’t have to miss carving to attend the Social.
Good News, another class is starting on December 13, 2022 at 9am. This will be a Spoon carving class. Joe Davis is the instructor and he has selected the patterns to be carved.
If you haven’t signed up or selected a pattern, contact Joe or see him this coming Tuesday at carving so he can be prepared for us the following Tuesday. Everyone will have the opportunity to complete 2 spoons using 1 or 2 patterns. Work fast as Christmas is coming. Thanks in advance Joe.

Steve Stillitano is already collecting items for the raffle, please remember Steve is looking to enhance the raffle with more items for non-carvers that attend the Showcase and has asked for donations of quality carvings from our Open Class carvers and advanced intermediate carvers that haven’t quite moved up to Open Class.
A successful raffle equals a successful Showcase.
Have a safe and Happy Holiday Season. Happy New Year.
